Genzyme CLT is a highly concentrated liquid neutral cellulase product manufactured by the controlled liquid submerged fermentation and special post treatment process using a genetically developed strain.

The activity of the enzyme is analyzed against an internal standard. A detailed assay method is available upon request.
The preferred conditions in biofinishing process are:
- Enzyme dose: 0.1~0.3% owf for fabric biofinishing
- Liquor garment ratio: 5～15
- pH: 5.0~7.5
- Temperature: 30～70℃
- Treatment time: 15～60 min
The optimal dosage will be determined according to the fabric type, treatment time, pH, temperature, liquor ratio, auxiliary chemicals etc.
Genzyme CLT is suitable for direct use or for further flexible formulation based on different fabric and garment processors. Genzyme CLT is compatible with most processing aids, including non ionic wetting agents, dispersing agents etc. Compatibility should be checked to avoid any negative impact on enzymes.
Inactivation of the enzyme should be considered. Insufficient inactivation can result in extended exposure of the garment or fabric to active cellulase, which will cause undesirable strength loss. Either alkaline rinse, or soda ash, borax are recommended for pH adjustment to ＞10 and holding for 10 minutes.

Storage: The product is recommended to be kept in cool, dark and dry place with temperature below 25℃ without direct sunlight and away from freezing.The activity will decrease less than 10% of the declared activity within 6 months when kept under 25℃ in the original sealed container.
