Glucoamylase is a-1.4 glucose hydrolase. The enzyme can cut a-1.4 glycoside bond successively from the non reducing end of starch molecular chain, and slowly hydrolyze a-1.6 glycoside bond to convert starch into glucose. “Meihua” brand high conversion glucoamylase is recovered by deep fermentation of high-quality strains.

WORKING CONDITION
- Temperature: 40-70℃, optimum 60-65℃
- pH: Stable 3.0-5.5, optimum 4.2-4.6
USAGE GUIDELIN
- Brewing making by liquid method:
Adjust the cooked raw material PH to around 4.5 with sulfuric acid ,Dilute the solid glucoamylase with water in the proportion of 1:5-10 adding into the raw material, keeping it at about 58℃ for about 30 minutes for saccharify, and then cool to the fermented temperature for fermentation processing. The dosage is 1.0-1.5kg basis on per tons raw material.
- Brewing making by solid method:
Firstly, Diluting the enzymes with water in the proportion of 1:3. After the cooking material is cooled to 60℃, Added the glucoamylase into the material, fully stirred for saccharification about 30 minutes. After the material temperature is reduced into about 30℃, Yeast can be added, mixed well, and then put the raw material into fermentation tank. The dosage is 1.0-1.5kg basis on per tons raw material.
PACKAGING, STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Packaging: 25kgs/ bag; 50kgs/ bag
Storage: This product should be stored at a cool place avoiding high temperature and insolation.
Shelf Life:
- 6 months at room temperature in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from direct sunlight. Its shelf-life will be 18 months if it is stored properly at 0 ~ 10oC.
- Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may lead to a higher dosage requirement, therefore should be avoided.

Glucoamylase is widely used in alcohol, MSG, brewing, yellow wine, beer, organic acid, antibiotics and other fermentation industries, and can be applied to the fields of starch hydrolysis and dextrin oligosaccharides hydrolysis.
