Alkaline protease DJP-3000 is produced from Bacillus licheniformis through submerged fermentation, extraction and refining process. DJP-3000 can catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins under alkaline conditions. It is suitable for food and brewing industry, and also applicable for leather processing, silk degumming and the production of detergents.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
- Declared Enzyme: Protease
- EC Number: EC 3.4.21.62
- Appearance: Pale Brown Liquid
- Activity: 300,000 U/g (minimum)
- Moisture: < 8%
Effect Of pH: DJP-3000 works at pH ranging from 6.0 to 12.0 with its optimum pH range from 10.0 to 11.0.
Effect Of Temperatures: DJP-3000 works at temperatures from 30 to 60°C. Its optimum temperature range from 45-55°C.
The recommended usage:
- The ratio of material to liquid 1:3-9, pH 8-10, temperature 50-60 °C, enzyme 0.16-0.5%, enzymatic hydrolysis for 2-6 hours.
- In the production of chondroitin, after alkali extraction of the raw material, add 0.06-0.16% DJP-3000 at pH 8-10, temperature 40-50 °C, and keep enzymatic reaction for 4-8 hours.
- In the production of heparin sodium, after salt hydrolysis of the raw materials, add 0.66-1.32g DJP-3000 to each small intestine, then hydrolyze at 45-60 °C and pH9-11 for 4-6 hours.
- In leather processing, the dosage for the soaking process is 0.0066~0.034% (on mass of material); the dosage for the leather softening is 0.02~0.066%, and it acts for 3~6 hours at 35~40℃; dosage for the unhairing is 0.032~0.1%, and it acts for 12~20 hours at 20~35℃. The pH during process is controlled at 9~11.
- In silk degumming, after the raw materials are pretreated, the enzyme is added at a dosage level of 0.26~0.8% at pH 9~11, and it acts for 30~60 minutes at 40~50℃
- In detergents, the dosage rate is 0.06~0.34% on the mass of the detergent.

DJP-3000 is applied to the hydrolysis of animal and plant proteins in the food industry to produce peptides or amino acids to form protein hydrolysates with unique flavor and improve the nutritional value of proteins.
In the production of condiments, DJP-3000 can increase the content of amino acids in condiments and improve the flavor.
In the production of chondroitin, DJP-3000 can help to increase the yield and purity.
In the production of heparin sodium, DJP-3000 can improve the molecular uniformity and product purity.
In leather processing, DJP-3000 can help to simplify and shorten the process, improve the quality of the finished product, increase the yield, and reduce the cost.
In silk degumming, DJP-3000 can protect the silk from damage and hairiness, and make it more fluffy.
In detergents, DJP-3000 can greatly improve the decontamination effect.
