GLUZYME PG Compound saccharifying enzyme series products are compounded by a glucoamylase and a pullulanase with wide pH adaptability and good thermal stability, which are refined by using selected Aspergillus niger through liquid submerged fermentation culture and an advanced extraction process.
Glucoamylase can quickly hydrolyze α- 1,4 glycosidic bonds of liquefied starch to produce glucose, and slowly hydrolyze α- 1,6 glycosidic bonds. While pullulanase can hydrolyze the α 1,6 glycosidic bonds in liquefied starch quickly, cut off the whole branch structure and form linear dextrin. The starch is converted into glucose through the efficient combination of the starch and the glucose.
GLUZYME PG is Kosher-certified, Halal-certified, non-synthetic and bio-degradable

Dosage Guidelines:
- Substrate concentration: 28~36% DS
- Initial sugar DE value: 12~16
- Saccharification pH: 4.0~4.5
- Saccharification temperature: 59~62 ℃
- Saccharification time: 30~50 Hr
- Addition amount of enzyme: 0.35~0.50 kg/tds
The dosage of GLUZYME PG depends on the process conditions and glucose yield. In most cases, the normal dosage is 0.30-0.50 kg/tds(tds: per ton of dry substance, and dosage of 0.45 kg/tds will achieve very ideal results. Also, increased enzyme dosage can efficiently shorten the process time of saccharification.
GLUZYME PG adapts to high concentration of dry substrate because of better activity of glucoamylase and pullulanase. Even for the DS concentration as high as 32-34%, it could still make the DX value higher than 96% within 32 h.
The actual dosage needs to be optimized depending upon factors such as–starch type, starch grade, DS% (dry solids), pH, temperature & time.
Product Characteristics:
- In the range of pH 4.0~4.5, glucoamylase and pullulanase have the best enzymatic activity.
- The enzymatic activity of glucoamylase and pullulanase are the best at 59~62℃
Packaging: GLUZYME PG is available in 30 Kg(25L) or 1125 Kg (1000L) IBCs
Storage & Shelf-life: GLUZYME PG should be stored in a cool, dry place. Storage in unopened containers, at or below 4°C, helps to maintain maximum activity if stored over long periods. Under these conditions, activity loss after one year should not be more than 10%.

- The DX Value of saccharification would not be less than 96.0%.
- Wide pH stability, and flexibility in process control.
- Saccharification can be processed in higher temperature and drier substance concentrations.
- Lower reverse reaction rate.
